About this Event:

Come join Mass Fish and Wildlife, the Division of Marine Fisheries and the National Park Service for this FREE surfcasting clinic. Agency staff will be on hand to teach basic surfcasting techniques and to answer any questions. This program is intended for individuals 10 years and older, who wish to build on their saltwater angling skills. Participants who attend this event will learn surfcasting techniques, tips on tackle, and best of all catch and release fishing! This is a pre-registered event, and spots are limited so register today!

  • I (Parent/Guardian) MUST stay with my youth, even when visiting concession stand or bathroom.

About the Program

Overview:

These events are intended for families and individuals new to saltwater fishing. DMF staff work with participants to teach basic saltwater angling skills through hands on learning and fun educational activities. Our mission is to teach responsible angling and give participants the skills and confidence necessary to go saltwater fishing on their own.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to saltwater fish? Join MarineFisheries and attend one of our Saltwater Angler Education Fishing Clinics and we will show you how! We provide the equipment, bait, and tackle all you have to do is have fun! You’ll learn knot tying to casting and even get to fish! Pre-registration is required. Please note this program is intended for beginners.
