About this Event:

Come join DMF staff for this FREE saltwater angler education clinic. DMF staff will be on hand to teach basic saltwater angling skills through hands on educational activities in a fun and enthusiastic environment! This program is intended for families and individuals new to saltwater fishing, participants who attend this event will learn skills such as knot tying, casting, proper fish handling and identification, and best of all catch and release fishing!
So come out and spend the day with Division of Marine Fisheries and learn how to saltwater fish! This is a preregistered event and spots are limited so register today!

  • I (Parent/Guardian) MUST stay with my youth, even when visiting concession stand or bathroom.

  • I am responsible for providing food and drinks for myself and my family.

About the Program

Overview:

These events are intended for families and individuals new to saltwater fishing. DMF staff work with participants to teach basic saltwater angling skills through hands on learning and fun educational activities. Our mission is to teach responsible angling and give participants the skills and confidence necessary to go saltwater fishing on their own.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to saltwater fish? Join MarineFisheries and attend one of our Saltwater Angler Education Fishing Clinics and we will show you how! We provide the equipment, bait, and tackle all you have to do is have fun! You’ll learn knot tying to casting and even get to fish! Pre-registration is required. Please note this program is intended for beginners.
