About this Event:

Come to this free event in which the Fall River Police Department along with Division of Marine Fisheries staff, will teach basic saltwater fishing skills. This program is intended for families but provides skill building for adult anglers interested in learning alongside their kids! Participants will learn skills such as knot tying, casting, proper fish handling and identification, and catch and release fishing. No prior experience necessary and gear and bait will be provided.
This is a preregistered event, and spots are limited so register today!

About the Program

Overview:

These events are intended for families and individuals new to saltwater fishing. DMF staff work with participants to teach basic saltwater angling skills through hands on learning and fun educational activities. Our mission is to teach responsible angling and give participants the skills and confidence necessary to go saltwater fishing on their own.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to saltwater fish? Join MarineFisheries and attend one of our Saltwater Angler Education Fishing Clinics and we will show you how! We provide the equipment, bait, and tackle all you have to do is have fun! You’ll learn knot tying to casting and even get to fish! Pre-registration is required. Please note this program is intended for beginners.
