About this Event:
The youth pheasant program is designed to provide young hunters with specialized pheasant hunting training and instruction, as well as reinforce what they learned in Basic Hunter Education. Young hunters will have the opportunity to practice firearms safety, develop shooting skills, and participate in a special pheasant hunt under the guidance of a safe, experienced adult hunter. This program at at Norco Sportsmans Club in Princeton MA, includes 5 training dates, August 13th, 20th, 27th, September 3rd, and 10th, all from 6pm-8pm. The mentored hunt is on Saturday, September 21st. While participants are encouraged to attend all 5 training days, you are required to attend at least three of the five training days to participate in the mentored pheasant hunt. All youth pheasant participants must have graduated from basic hunter education prior to the day of the hunt
